Field-based Programmes

Iwokrama currently offers a series of excellent field-based, "hands-on" programmes and courses that focus on practical skills development. Most of these are offered at the Iwokrama Forest and nearby areas. The training programme benefits greatly from the facilities and resources offered by the Iwokrama Field Station, the Forest's Wilderness Preserve and Sustainable Utilization Area, and the surrounding rivers, savannah and local Amerindian communities. Iwokrama utilises local, national, and international expertise to provide programmes and courses of a high standard.

Class Size

To achieve an optimal educational environment, class sizes are limited to twenty persons per course.

Fees

Fees include tuition, transport to and from course venues, accommodation and meals on location, teaching materials, and certification.
