The second meeting for the revitalised Iwokrama Science Committee was held in Boston, USA, April 12th at the University of Massachusetts. Discussions focused on expanding the thematic areas and activities. A presentation on Iwokrama was also given to some graduate students from the science department of the University. The work of the new science committee is being supported by ExxonMobil. The research strategy is expected to be completed by June 2018.
