To remain on the cutting-edge of rainforest-based research, Iwokrama has partnered with several organisations worldwide to plan, implement, and analyse key projects relating to its mandate. Among these partners is Newcastle University where a team of established researchers are pushing boundaries in the areas of climate, hydrology, biodiversity and cultural heritage.
ACP FORENET is a project funded by the European Commission and the Secretariat of the African-Caribbean-Pacific (ACP) countries aiming at strengthening capacities in selected ACP countries to undertake collaborative, applied forest-related research that will produce results directly applicable for the sustainable management of humid tropical forests.
