Our work

People, Science & Business
together

PEOPLE

Twenty-one local communities- representing 8000+ people- are active shareholder and partners in the IIC’s sustainable timber, tourism, and research initiatives. Through co-management of the forest and benefit sharing agreements, they play a central role in conserving the ecosystem while improving local livelihoods.

SCIENCE

A living laboratory for science, providing a dedicated space for teaching, research, and international collaboration. As a supporter of the Global Biodiversity Alliance, the Centre translates forest research into actionable insights, reinforcing a commitment to science-based conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources.

BUSINESS
